It was a pleasure to meet you all.  The trip was an amazing experience, and all of our arrangements came off without a hitch.  Kudos to Oliver and Sharon for setting things in motion and for directing us to Medhat; he is an excellent travel advisor.  And, how lucky were we to have Hussain as our tour guide.  He was superb.   Everyone was extremely delightful and will be etched in my memory forever.

Taylor, my granddaughter, and I had a wonderful trip to Egypt.  Our  Right Travel guides were friendly, informative, helpful in many ways and truly extended themselves to assist us especially when my granddaughter came down with travellers diarrhea.  We were provided with medication which helped her considerably.   
 
Since we had to improvise due to her illness, Right Travel assisted us in providing other points of interest for us to see due to our inability to keep up with our original itinerary. I will highly recommend Right Travel to all for an exciting and adventureous trip to the Land of the Pharaohs.  
I would also like to point out that at No Time did we feel unsafe in any way traveling through Egypt with our guides. At one point we were actually accompanied by an agent to protect us, as Americans,  - if necessary - as we headed up toward Alexandria. That was a precaution taken to make sure our trip would be a safe one. I would like to thank you for suggesting this splendid trip/itinerary which we enjoyed immensely.

The trip to Egypt that you coordinated was far greater than my expectations. If I were to tell you what the highlights were, they wouldn't start with the obvious (Pyramids, Sphinx, Temples, etc). It would start with the tremendous service and support of your entire team. Everyone from you and your team to the drivers and Egyptologists throughout Egypt to the cruise were tremendous. Their was an obvious sense of pride in what they were doing and making sure that the "customer" was always taken care of. They were tremendously accomodating, informed and even resilient in meeting changing demands.
 
In one phrase, this trip exceeded my expectations ten fold and we came back with an appreciation of the "Richness" and "Diversity" of the Egyptian people and their culture. Thank you very much and we'll be back,

Finally over "jet lag" and almost back to normal.  Just wanted you to know that our trip was just wonderful.  All of our guides were fun, they knew and gave us so much information and we all really felt well taken care of.  The people in Egypt were so warm and friendly and it was great taking to them about their lives.  It was just so comfortable being with all of them.  The Triumph hotel was great, although the food in the dining room at night was not as good as we had hoped, breakfast was wonderful.  The boat we were on was absolutely amazing...food was GREAT, staff professional and really fun and friendly.  You should have seen the great figures that they made for all of us out of towels, really funny and creative.  Of coarse I had to get pictures with the artists.  There was just lots of laughter and good feelings.
 
Just want you to know how much we appreciated all of the hard work that you and everyone in Right Travel did to make our experience one of a lifetime.  I would definitely recommend your agency to others. All the best, Jill

I want to thank your agency for such an incredible experience with wonderful people. I cannot recall the names of all the people who went above what we thought was expected.  What was so good to hear was that each person who works for Right Travel commented so positively about you, and what a pleasure it is to work for Right Travel.
 
This was my 16th trip across the Atlantic and we were very interested in going to Egypt  I was skeptical about Right Travel as I had not heard of them (it's a relatively new company) but liked the idea of small group travel, so dec'd to take the chance. My adult son and I just returned from Egypt and I cannot recommend R-T highly enough. There was not one bad note. We were met at each airport and taken to the hotel or boat. And then from the hotel and boat back to the airport. We planned to leave Luxor for Cairo later than the rest of our group and therefore did not expect to be met.  But there the rep was, with a huge smile. He solved a problem for us at the airport and did not leave until we went thru security.  What a huge relief to be met.
 
I would recommend getting in and out of Cairo as quickly as possible, 25 million people, all who seem to be in cars at all times of day (making 6 lanes from 3), is daunting. I've been in traffic in Istanbul, Morocco, and Sicily but was not prepared for Cairo. However, we were taken to the sites by our very knowlegable guide and great driver, and all that we saw was indeed fabulous.
 
There's no adjective for the ship experience. The ship and it's staff were wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Sitting on the top deck looking at beautiful scenery and watching the life of rural Egypt was the highlight of the trip....incredible and so relaxing.
 
The guides in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan were Egyptologists who obviously knew their subject and were excited about sharing it. They were also open to as many questions as we asked. I never saw any impatience from our guides. They seemed to really want us to have a positive experience.
 
When Right Travel promises small groups in a van, that's what we had. There were 9 of us and we all got along  so well.  My birthday was on ship and the group and staff celebrated it. Such a surprise....and lots of fun. I've been with large groups and the difference was remarkable. I'd watch other groups trudging into sites....long lines of them, and felt quite smug about our nine!
 
The only advice I can offer about the flight to Egypt is to arrange a layover in western Europe. Cairo to JFK was 12 hours and coming back we were exhausted. We then flew from JFK to Memphis. In all my traveling I've never experienced jetlag until yesterday and we were both totally wiped out. From Cairo to an airport in western Europe (Paris or Amsterdam) for a chance to walk around a bit, then on home, would have been beneficial. However, let me stress that we arranged the flight as we flew from Memphis to Italy before going to Egypt. So this `overload' was not the fault of Right Travel but our responsibility. You know that the best lessons are lraned from mistakes!
 
I could go on and on about the trip and the people from Right Travel  who made it so wonderful.  I just returned and altho I'm exhausted, I'm still excited. I will most assuredly travel with Right Travel again and could not recommend them highly enough. Oh, one last thing. Each person associated with Right Travel spoke highly of the company. With all the traveling I've done, I've never heard employees speak about the tour company they worked for before. So obviously Right Travel employees experienced people and treats them well.  That certainly must be behind the exceptional service we received.

Mary Anne deputized me to reply to your note.  We had the best vacation of our lives and thank our lucky stars we found your web site and had the courage to use your services. It must be said that it requires true grit and some good luck to actually make things work when traveling in a small group on a self planned itinerery. However, everything you promised did occur, the guides were first rate, people showed up as outlined in the plan, everyone was very pleasant even to the point of empathizing with us being exhausted and getting over terrible colds acquired along the way. The diving at Sharm was beyond my best dreams and I am now certified for deep diving.Unfortunately Mary Anne had a bloody sinusitis and could only dive one day at which point the dive master insisted on calling the local dive physician and refused to allow her back on the dive boat for subsequent dives. She was able to snorkle and had a good time.

You can be sure we will use your services again and will reccomend you to our friends. The taxi driver from Jerusalem was not allowed to come to the border station and we only found out he was outside the gate when Israeli police came up to us and then allowed him to come in to pick us up. Also the border crossing involves a charge for the bus and luggage, not a fee to leave Jordan. The fee can be paid in $US but if you are due change for your dollars it comes in useless Jordanian dinars. Warn people that they will have to pay and it is not a fixed amount but depends on luggage. You might also reassure travelers that Israeli guides love to scare people about the awful time at the Allenby crossing but I suspect the delays are not as common as the stories suggest. Also it appears that the delays are due to stringent Israeli security and this suggests that it doesn't matter where the crossing is. The time for us was about 45min including three trips for my luggage through the x-ray machines and x-raying my long camera lens separately. The hotels were all great-no need for five star at all. We just can't wait for our next trip-we hope with you guys again!

Both my wife and I want to thank you for all the great work you did to make our Egypt trip one we will never forget. We had a wonderful time and were amazed at how beautiful the country was and kind the people were to us. Of course, I was thrilled to see all the fabulous ruins, temples and artifacts found in this unique country.

Right Travel provided us with excellent service on our trip to Egypt and cruise up the Nile, always providing us information in a timely and thorough manner with highest praise for Medhat prior to our departure. We selected the four day, three night cruise from Aswan to Luxor with a side trip to Abu Simbel. At every step of this complicated trip, we were greeted by Right Travel representatives who were exceptionally helpful in meeting our needs and answering our questions. The boat accommodations were more than adequate, the Stephanie itself was lovely, comfortable and easy to navigate, and the food was better than expected. The highlight of our trip from a Right Travel perspective was our Egyptologist, Alaa, who accompanied us throughout our tour, was highly informative and exceedingly helpful in guiding us through the various temples, markets, etc. Thanks to Right Travel for one of the most outstanding vacations I have had – and I travel a lot.  Egypt is simply spectacular and the tour made it more so.

Jan 13-22, 2010 (10 Day Oberoi Style Tour)

Egypt Air was great. Excellent service on board, friendly flight attendants, abundance of good food, plus the flight attendants brought around water several times during the flight. And I heard from an Egyptian lady that she flies Egypt Air all the time because their pilots are very experienced and safe. When we left Cairo to come home, I noticed that dogs were sniffing the luggage that was being loaded, which also was reassuring.
 
The Right-Travel guides all were fantastic! 
 
In Cairo Essam ("Harry") met me at the airport when I arrived, retrieved my missing luggage the next day, and took me to the opera that night. And when I left early the next morning, he had arranged for the Hyatt to have a box breakfast to take along with me. He was so pleasant and helpful, and a lot of fun--I enjoyed being with him.

The opera, Aida, by the way, was wonderful! The stage settings--and there were many--were absolutely breath-taking! I have never seen anything like it. At one point I could have sworn the Nile was flowing over the stage! Plus there were many beautiful replicas of ancient statues and temples that made the setting seem real. My seating was perfect--3rd row, dead center. Since the orchestra seats are elevated, this brought me level with the stage. I really enjoyed the whole evening immensely.

I was with Ahmed in Luxor. A very sweet young man, who took such good care of me. He took me to a lovely lunch at a restaurant on the Nile, with a great view. When I went to the sound and light show, he arranged for an escort to take me through with a flash light, who took me in front of the crowd, and actually held my hand so I didn't stumble in the dark on the uneven pavement. Ahmed was always there on time, and always asked what else he could do for me. I have very fond memories of him.
 
I was with Hussein for three whole days of sight-seeing in Cairo, and he was so wonderful to me. He has a wealth of knowledge and was able to explain anything and everything so well. I never felt rushed--he let me have as long as I wanted anywhere we went. I felt he was there to share anything he knew with me, or do anything I wanted to do. He took me to a couple of shops that I had asked to go to, but stressed to me that I did not have to buy anything. I especially enjoyed the trip to the Fayoum with him, and the local restaurant he took me to for lunch on Lake Qarun. And it was so special see the pyramids at Dashur and Meidum, without the crowds, and without the vendors. I might add that Hussein is also an accomplished photographer, and always knew where to get the best shot, or where to have me stand to have me in the picture. He knew all about my camera--I didn't have to explain anything to him. I don't think I could have had a better guide, and I was close to tears when I said good-bye to him.
 
All the drivers were also very good. And very pleasant and helpful. In fact, the driver to the Fayoum played classical music in the van, because he knew I had requested to go to the opera, so thought I would enjoy classical music--which I did. So very thoughtful of him.
 
The MS Philae was terrific. The guide I had onboard, Salwa Shehata, was a free-lance Egyptologist from Tel El-Amarna--I told her I was going home with her (since that is where Akhenaten built his city when he left Thebes)! She was so enthusiastic and seemed to love explaining in detail what obviously meant so much to her. And always there were refreshments and a refreshing wipe when we came back onboard after a tour in the hot sun. There were 10 of us in her group, all very compatible: 2 from Australia, 2 from New Zealand, 4 from Scotland, and one lady from the U.S.--and me. The whole ship was available to us, and the entire staff was exceptionally congenial, available, and helpful. I visited the captain and his assistant as they piloted the boat, and took a tour with the chef in the kitchen. The chef was always fun--always dancing behind the buffet table! The food was fantastic. Quite frankly, I didn't think I would like Egyptian food, but anywhere I had it, it was great. Especially on the cruise. One night we had a Gallabeya party, which was lots of fun. One night was a black-and-white dinner--very elegant--where even the staff work black and white. One night there was a whirling dervish. And always the lounge was available for tea in the afternoon and dancing at night. My room was perfect--on the port side, as I had requested. With a view of the sunset behind the Theban hills.
 
The Grand Hyatt and the Mena House were both superb! Especially the Mena House, when they upgraded me to a suite when I didn't have hot water one night! It is really a grand hotel--truly elegant and opulent, with exceptional ambience. Many good restaurants, as well as different kinds of entertainment. Gorgeous grounds. I could have stayed there for a week, and not gone off the premises! And the pyramid view from my room was awesome!
 
The whole trip was a dream come true for me. To see the ruins and artifacts from such a great, ancient civilization was just incredible. If truth be told, when I went into the first tomb, tears rolled down my cheeks when I saw the love and care the artisans had used in preparing the tomb for their king, whom they considered divine. All so symbolic, in such intricate detail, with every inch of space decorated. But also incredible were the people of Egypt today. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and pleasant. I don't think I have been to a country where I felt such affection for its people as a whole. I can't thank you enough for helping me plan the trip, and giving me such a magnificent experience. It was all just magical.
 
And sooner or later you may be getting a call from a lady I met from the U.S. She was so impressed by what Right-Travel did for me and the way I was treated, that she asked me how to contact you. In fact, she reminded me several times not to forget to email her your website. (Which I have done.) And I will recommend Right-Travel to anyone else who asks!

He was excellent ,very good and careful driver with  good manners .He was very informative also to us about various things we saw at the safaris. Now we appreciate the possibility to say thank you to “Right Travel” for making our second week in Egypt really a great experience. We were absolutely lucky with our hosts as well with the drivers, and Mr. Yasser Salah took good care of us, although we never saw him…

Mikle Azmy was at our door and everything was fine to perfect. He and Muhammad in his Four-Wheel-Drive, a black Toyota, took us to Siwa (we liked the Shali-Lodge a lot), showed us everything we wanted to see, took us to the desert, to El Alamein und dropped us safely in Alexandria. Muhammad is an excellent driver and Mikle a very clever, ambitious, hearty young man we had a lot fun with.

In Alexandria we absolutely enjoyed the Alexandria Cecil, you could not have chosen a better hotel. There young Ahmad and the driver Selim were as perfect companions as the other two, Ahmad so gentle, polite, helpful, trying so fulfill all our wishes. Although some of the sights were closed (the Museum of Greek and Roman Antiquities, the Royal Jewellery Museum) we saw a lot, and Ahmad took us to several churches we wanted to visit. So everything could not have gone better.

Due to you and your associates, we had a wonderful time in Egypt. The trip went on very smoothly. The representatives and drivers were punctual and took care of our transportation. The staff at the Mena House and M/S Stephanie were friendly and accommodating. The accomodations for both were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Our Cairo Egytologist was Alia, and Alaa was our Egytologist and escort on the Nile cruise. We praise them for their vast knowledge of Egypt's history and their professional way of doing their job. Alaa was a standout with us because he spent the most time with us and we became like a family. His time and effort bestowed on us were priceless. Nov 02-13, 2009 (Custom Tour Egypt)

We returned from Egypt on Friday and I wanted to let you know how pleased we were with all the arrangements. Your representatives were all great and reliably on time. Special mention to the gentleman whose name I did not get, but who took care of us at Abu Simbel airport after our plane could not take off because of mechanical difficulties - he took care of putting us on the next flight. The whole trip went smoothly, the Oberoi Philae was exceptional and of course, the sites breathtaking. All in all, a spectacular trip made even more enjoyable because there was nothing for us to be concerned about.

The trip went very well. Mustaffa was always very timely with airport transfers and is polite and helpful. Alia was the Cairo guide for the three of us and she was knowledgeable and explained things well. I particularly enjoyed the restaurant she took us to during the Memphis, Sakkara, Giza tour.

The Mena House was amazing, as I sure you know! Everything about it was fantastic. The Radamis 1 was very nice. Better than most. My cabin was clean and quiet, which I appreciate very much. The staff was exceptional. The service for the cabin, laundry and dining room could not have been better! All of the staff were helpful and attentive. A good cruise experience!

Arriving back in Cairo, Mustaffa asked me how I enjoyed the cruise and had my final night stay at the Mena House upgraded to a suite. This was quite unexpected, but very nice of him to do. He clearly wanted me to have a positive travel experience. He also was able to change my "Sound and Light Show" outing to this night to make the transportation much quicker and easier than from the Triumph in Heliopolis. I am found him to be very service oriented. He is an asset to the agency.

I was pleased with the trip and the service of the agency. Medhat, I appreciate your professionalism and organizational skills. You are clearly what makes it work from the US. I would use you and your agency again. Thanks for all the planning you did on my behalf.

Our trip to Egypt, Jordan and Jerusalem, Israel in October 2009 was a great success thanks to the proficiency and professionalism of Medhat Elsergany at Right Travel and his associates overseas. Given only one week's notice, Medhat managed to pull together a comprehensive trip that included many flights, hotels and tours. We were amazed at how smoothly everything went upon our arrival, and felt comfortable and confident in the hands of our delightful private guides. Egypt was amazing. Right Travel helped us to have a very memorable vacation. I researched a number of travel agencies before deciding on the right company to handle such an important excursion for us. I decided to go with Right Travel because of you (Medhat). You were very responsive to my questions and accessible by phone and email. Egypt itself is simply amazing but the our tour guides ALIA and ALAA were absolutely wonderful. Alia was not only a great Egyptologist but very warm, friendly and you could tell she wanted us to enjoy vacation. I was actually sad to leave her lol. Once we got to Luxor we hit it off right from the start with Alaa. He explained the history of the temples in a way that both myself and Jason will not forget. I really feel as if I learned from both Alia and Alaa. They made our trip so much better. Mohamed our tour guide for Abu Simbel was also great and very knowledgeable.

Special thanks to Medhat for putting everything together (answering all of my many questions) and to Yassar for going above and beyond to correct a problem. I will definitely use Right Travel for my Italy and Greece vacation.

To Alia and Alaa thank so much! Jason and I both will miss you guys. You were the most important part, we really learned a lot from you and enjoyed your company as well. I am going tell my friends to request you when they travel to Egypt!

Sep 22-Oct 06, 2009 (15 Day Egypt Grand Circle Tour)

There are no words that I can say to tell you how wonderful our recent trip to Egypt was. I will list my remarks below: Egypt Air: the most non-stressful flight we have ever taken. They were accommodating, fast, efficient, pleasant airline. Mena House: It was luxury beyond belief. The entire staff treated us like royalty. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and large. We absolutely loved this hotel. Our driver, Mammoud and our guide, Hussein made our experience in Cairo and Alexandria not only fun but interesting. Mustafa and Ahmed, our guides were extremely helpful. We had a slight problem with being placed on two separate flights, but Right Travel remedied the situation within minutes and took very good care of us. The MS Stephanie cruise ship was perfect. Again the staff couldn't be more accommodating. The staterooms were clean. I thoroughly enjoyed having the French balcony to sit in our stateroom and watch Egypt go by. The pool was delightful. everyone was immediately at beckon call to answer questions, and take care of us.

Ashraf: Our Egyptologist. We absolutely loved him. Not only did he take good care of us, but he educated us to the point where I thought I took a college course for credit. Ashraf is a wonderful person, knows and loves his field. He would actually take my arm and assist me up hills and stairs. We want to thank him so much for an experience we will never forget. We will miss him.

Egypt is beautiful, the people are so friendly and helpful, the cruise on the Nile was restful and I truly enjoyed sitting on deck watching Egypt go by. Your organization is the best and we will travel with you again in the near future. Thankyou, so much for making our trip so pleasant and stress free.
