Arrive in Florence and transfer to your hotel in Montecatini. Balance of the day at leisure. Tonight, enjoy a welcome cocktail and orientation, followed by a welcome dinner.

| Day 3: Monday - Renaissance Lecture, Lucca Tour |
|
|
This morning, enjoy a lecture on "Artistic Tuscany and the Renaissance," followed by a tour of Lucca, one of the most fascinating towns in Tuscany. Walk the narrow streets of the original Roman grid to San Michele and its beautiful piazza, which occupies the site of the ancient Roman Forum. In the afternoon, return to Montecatini.

| Day 4: Tuesday - Pisa Sightseeing |
|
|
Today, enjoy an exciting tour of the city of Pisa. Walk the quaint streets of this Old Mariner Republic and enjoy the medieval arcades of the Borgo Pio, along with views of the city`s famous university that fostered Italy`s many Nobel Prize winners. View the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and Duomo. In the afternoon, return to Montecatini.

| Day 5: Wednesday - Tuscan Vineyard Tour |
|
|
Morning at leisure. In the late afternoon, depart for a Tuscan farm in the countryside. Enjoy a tour of the farm`s vineyards before settling in for a rustic Tuscan Paesana dinner, including wine and olive oil tastings.

| Day 6: Thursday - Florence City Tour |
|
|
This morning, travel to the city of Florence, birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Benedetto Accolti and the Florentine Renaissance. On arrival, walk to the Duomo and Baptistery to view view Ghiberti`s Gates of Paradise, whose south door quatrefoils and seated Virtues feature scenes from the life of John the Baptist. Continue to visit the Accademia where you will view Michelangelo David. From here, visit the open-air art museum of Signoria Square, with its beautiful statues and landmark Ponte Vecchio, the "Old Bridge." Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Florence. Return to Montecatini in the evening

Full day at leisure to explore the region independently. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner.
