Early this morning, transfer to the Sacred Valleys Ollanta Station and board the Expedition Train for Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu was built circa 1450 and abandoned only 100 years later. The purpose of this splendid city is still a mystery to modern historians.
