Day 2: Sun - Venice
Welcome to Venice. An optional arrival transfer from the airport to your hotel is available for $54. Enjoy the balance of the day on your own.
Day 3: Mon - Venice, Optional Walking Tour
Full day at leisure or choose an optional walking tour of Venice. This morning`s tour begins with an orientation of St. Mark`s Square, considered the historical heart of the city, and continues to visit the Golden Basilica of San Marco* with its mysterious interior, lavish mosaics, and decorations of Occidental and Oriental design. Proceed to the 14th century Doge`s Palace, whose facade comprises a massive Gothic gate on the Piazzetta side, known as the Porta Della Carta. Continue to the rear of the palace to view the Bridge of Sighs. The tour ends with an optional visit to a glass blowing factory on Murano Island.

Day 4: Tue - Venice, Optional optional excursion to the Islands of Venice
Full day at leisure or you can choose our optional tour (Gondola Serenade). This evening, enjoy one of the highlights of any Italian holiday Enjoy a relaxing gondola ride with music along the famous Grand Canal, and experience a piece of Venetian history. Glide along the centuries old canals, past lavish palaces and under famous arched bridges (the Gondola holds a maximum of six passengers. Please note that this is not a private gondola ride. Gondolas may depart in groups, with one singer offered per group).

Day 5: Wed - Venice, Optional Gondola Serenade
Full day at leisure or you can choose our optional tour (Excursion to the Islands of Venice Lagoon). Depart by boat from Alilaguna Pier to the charming island of Murano. Built on a series of small islands connected by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon, Murano is known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Enjoy a visit inside one of the islands glass blowing factories to witness first-hand the methods of this fascinating art. Continue to Burano, the most scenic island of the Lagoon, famous for its colorful houses and central church with leaning campanile. Visit Baldassarre Galuppi Street, the islands main avenue, filled with tiny shops that sell famous handmade lace. Continue to the island of Torcello to visit the church of Santa Fosca. Here you will see the churchs unique portico in the form of a Greek cross, and the Byzantine Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
