Welcome to Venice. An optional arrival transfer from the airport to your hotel is available for $54 per person to Venice Island, or $70 (1-2 passengers) to Venice Mestre. Enjoy the balance of the day on your own.

Full day at leisure or choose an optional afternoon tour to depart by boat from Alilaguna Pier to the charming island of Murano. Built on a series of small islands connected by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon, Murano is known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Enjoy a visit inside one of the island`s glass blowing factories to witness first-hand the methods of this fascinating art. Continue the tour to Burano Island, famous for its colorful houses and central church with leaning campanile. Visit the island`s main avenue, Baldassarre Galuppi Street, to shop for handmade lace. Continue to the island of Torcello to visit the church of Santa Fosca and the Byzantine Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta ($27) - Note: Tour departs from Alilaguna Pier, located in front of the entrance to the Royal Gardens of St. Mark`s.

| Day 4: Thu - Venice |

This morning, enjoy an optional walking tour of Venice. Tour begins with an orientation of St. Mark`s Square, considered the historical heart of the city, and continues to visit the Golden Basilica of San Marco with its mysterious interior, lavish mosaics, and decorations of Occidental and Oriental design. Proceed to the 14th century Doges` Palace, whose facade comprises a massive Gothic gate on the Piazzetta side, known as the Porta Della Carta. Continue to the rear of the palace to view the Bridge of Sighs which is connected to the palace`s former prison. The tour ends with an optional visit to a glass blowing factory on Murano Island ($45). Note: Tour departs from the Tourist Information Office in St. Mark`s Square (on Venice Island), located across from the Basilica. This afternoon, enjoy a relaxing optional gondola ride with music and songs along the famous Grand Canal, and experience a piece of Venetian history($54) - Note: Tour departs from the Santa Maria del Giglio gondola pier.

Full day at leisure or choose an optional afternoon tour by private boat to discover the splendor of the Grand Canal, the city`s most prized attraction.
