Arrive in Amman, where you will be met by your agent and moved to your hotel in Petra for overnight (3 hours transfer).

A full day visiting Petra, the Rose Red City of the 1st Millennium Nabateans, A walk or horse-ride via the 1 mile Siq (an huge crack in the sandstone mountains), you arrive at Petra’s most amazing site. the Treasury. Created out of solid rock on the side of the mountain, encircled on both sides by 100s of Petra’s carved constructions, soaring temples, sophisticated royal tombs, roman theatre and burial chambers. For those young at heart, a climb will take them to the Monastery above the hills, with a fantastic view over Wadi Araba. Late afternoon, return to Amman.

Very early morning take pleasure in the town of Jerash, the best conserved city of the Roman Decapolis. Often called “Pompei of the East" you will walk its colonnaded streets, view its temples, churches, Nymphaeum, and theatre. Afterwards, move forward to Ajloun, the 12th one hundred year castle built by Saladin’s army in the strategy in opposition to the crusaders, early afternoon move to Allenby Bridge or Amman airport for departure.
