This morning arrive in the city of Newcastle on Australias northeast coast at 7:00 am. The city is a bustling port town that caters to visitors of all tastes. Explore the historical buildings and quirky boutiques downtown, and then perhaps take a break at a waterfront café. There are a number of beautiful beaches within 3 miles of the city, and an extensive network of trails perfect for exploring the surrounding areas by foot or bike. Arrive to Cairns this morning at 10:00 am. The city is a hot-spot for vacationers due to its tropical climate and proximity to the Great Barrier Reef. Day 10: Full Day in Cairns
Continue exploring Cairns today on your own. Walk along the boardwalk to admire the beautiful water surrounding the city, or visit one of the swimming beaches located in the nearby suburbs. Set sail at 6:30 pm Overnight: Cruise ( B, L, D )
Day 11: Cruising Willis Island

Day 12: Full Day in Airlie Beach
Today remain tendered off the shore of Airlie Beach starting at 8:00 am. Located on a picturesque peninsula, the town is an ideal spot to enjoy water sports such as water skiing or tubing. The beach is also a great launching point for diving excursions to the Great Barrier Reef, and the Whitsunday Islands, a group of 74 pristine beach islands located within the Great Barrier Reef.
